Latteria Due Madonne makes its cheese from milk produced on its farms close to the dairy. This short supply chain ensures that all its products are 100% traceable. When you taste a piece of Parmigiano-Reggiano Due Madonne, you can savour the distinctive aroma and mellow flavour that are the hallmarks of a completely natural cheese. This is the result of our cows enjoying a rare privilege: a seasonal diet based on hay, cereals and - from spring onwards - fresh grass. It is the variety of this diet that enhances the nutritional and organoleptic characteristics of the milk, and thus of the Parmigiano-Reggiano made from it. To guarantee this outstanding flavour and nutritional value, Latteria Due Madonne suggests Parmigiano-Reggiano PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin) be left to age for at least 24 months.
