GMO free

Several years ago, Latteria Due Madonne embarked upon a quality project that has made it possible to obtain a GMO-free Parmigiano-Reggiano. The objective of the project was to create a truly special Parmigiano-Reggiano PDO, with important efforts aimed at rearing milk cows and growing vegetables to feed them on. Now our Parmigiano Reggiano complies with the applicable requirements (Technical Product Specification STP-ce-pc-agro 7 Rev. 6: cheese processed with milk from cows fed with animal feedstuffs which don't derive, contain or consist of genetically modified soya and maize).
